ELFA INTERNATIONAL

Established in 2017 by global humanitarian figure Mr. Mehran Khan, ELFA International stands as an autonomous and unbiased humanitarian and development organization. Our primary focus lies in addressing situations characterized by poverty, marginalization, conflict, and natural calamities. Our commitment extends to various domains including education, livelihood, women's empowerment, youth development, and inclusive initiatives. Collaborating closely with youth, women, children, and other vulnerable segments, our efforts are directed to meeting their essential needs, enhancing their quality of life, and advocating for their economic and social dignity, as well as their fundamental rights. Operating as a non-profit, non-partisan organization, we prioritize cooperation with individuals and entities who share our values, providing support for our projects.

WHOLE SCHOOL SAFETY

ELFA International in collaboration with the Directorate of Samagra Shiksha and UNICEF implemented the Jammu & Kashmir Whole School Safety Programme and trained a total of 70300 children directly & through teachers, Parents, VECs and SMCs on School Safety, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Child Protection, COVID-19 IPC/SOPs, WASH and Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM), 7650 Teachers from xxxx schools, 6783 Parents, VECs and SMCs and 39 Government Officials were trained directly on School Safety, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Child Protection, COVID-19 IPC/SOPS, WASH and Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM). Foot-operated hand-washing station & Face Masks and Liquid Hand Washes were distributed in 05 districts (Kupwara, Baramulla, Srinagar, Jammu and Doda) whereby 100 schools were developed as model schools.

HUMANITARIAN (IDRR)

ELFA International responded to the COVID-19 pandemic emergency by distributing 1000s of Face Masks, Hand Sanitizers, Hand Gloves, Sanitary Napkins, PPEs, etc. The local authorities including District Development Commissioner and Mayor of Srinagar City appreciated the timely response of the organization through formal letters of appreciation and tweets

INCLUSIVE & PEACE EDUCATION, CHILD SAFETY & PROTECTION
