Electronics Engineer from VNIT (Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology) and have done MBA in Finance & Marketing. Post Graduation in Mass Communication. Working in the field of Management Consultancy and Information Communication Technology for the past over 30 years.

Involved in the field of disability for over two decades as activist, parent and advocate of rights of PwDs. One of the founder members of PARIVAAR – National Confederation of Parents Organisations, which has presence in all the states and three UTs. PARIVAAR has organisational membership of over 250.

Board of National Trust for more than a decade, being elected fourth term, as Parents’ representative. Resource person at many national and international conferences and participate in consultative meetings. Work closely with NIMH, National Trust, RCI and MSJ&E on Policies and Programs and to advocate for persons with disabilities.

Work for IBM Research as Program Director, Human Ability & Accessibility. Have lead projects to develop technology solutions for Persons with Disabilities and other disadvantaged sections of the society, with the aim of Inclusion.
